Leading real estate development company The HYM Investment Group, LLC (HYM) engaged Benchmark Strategies to oversee the public relations and media strategy for the redevelopment of Suffolk Downs, one of the largest and most complex real estate development projects in Boston’s history.

Benchmark Strategies created a broad-based public and media relations campaign for the redevelopment of Suffolk Downs which includes content and message development, issues and crises management, and media and interview placement in national, regional, and local publications and news outlets.

Benchmark Strategies also helped coordinate the Suffolk Downs groundbreaking ceremony which was attended by over 500 industry leaders, government officials, and community members and received coverage from all major regional news publications and outlets.

Result

Benchmark Strategies’ industry and media expertise continues to help reposition Suffolk Downs from a former horse-racing track to its new future as a 161-acre dynamic neighborhood and mixed-use community that will serve the residents of Revere, East Boston and beyond.
